London TravelWatch - London's independent transport watchdog

Date: 2026-06-06  Source:   Author: Report Error

London TravelWatch is the statutory transport watchdog for London. We work on behalf of the public to improve travel across the capital.
London TravelWatch speaks out for everyone who travels in and around the city

We are London’s independent transport watchdog, working to make travelling in and around the capital better for everyone

We speak up for all those who use the bus, Underground and rail services in and around the city as well as users of Dial-a-Ride, trams, taxis, cable cars and river transport, and those who walk, cycle and wheel in the city. Our remit also covers matters related to the capital’s principal road network.

If you have a complaint about London’s transport, you must first contact the operator that provides the service. Find out how on our complaints page.

If you have already been to the operator and would like to appeal your complaint you can contact our casework team:
enquiries@londontravelwatch.org.uk
0203 176 2999 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
Freepost LONDON TRAVELWATCH, Timothys Bridge Road, Stratford Enterprise Park, Stratford-Upon-Avon CV37 9BG

Please ensure you enclose all information relevant to your complaint.

As London TravelWatch deals with complaints for more than one organisation, please be aware that emails you receive from our casework team will end in @transportwatchdog.org.uk

Correspondence which contains abusive comments of any kind will not be tolerated or responded to and may be passed to the police.

Please contact the Chief Executive at info@londontravelwatch.org.uk for general complaints about London TravelWatch. The Chief Executive will investigate all complaints about London TravelWatch staff but will not reinvestigate your original complaint with the transport provider or ticket retailer. Please do not send your appeals to this address as this may result in a delay before being picked up by our Casework team.

For complaints regarding coaches or buses outside of London, please contact Bus Users UK.
